Sixth sketch in the series of proposed paintings depicting all 80 of Richthofen’s aerial victories: Richthofen's sixth aerial victory was on Wednesday, October 25, 1916 While flying at 9:35am, Manfred Von Richthofen encountered a British, BE.12, two seater. After firing close to 200 rounds the Baron downed the BE.12 piloted by 2nd Lt. Arthur James Fischer, which spiraled to the ground over Bapaume, France.
