We’re BACK! Everything looks normal (I hope…!)

We’ve just completed the move to a new server. Its been a nail-biting few days because the IT tech guy I hired did not do the job properlycensoredbrooding, and so I had to do it all by myself, with a bit of guesswork here and there, and much uploading and deleting of files and databases.seestars

It looks like the migration has gone well, with only the latest posts of the past few days missing, I think, including my post announcing the site will be down.

For the members’ whose recent posts might not have been backed up and restored properly, I apologise and request that you make the posts again.whistle

Site issues still being resolved, eHangar may go offline temporarily

Hi folks, the site has been experiencing a number of technical issues and I am still looking into it, and also bringing in some technical help.

Over the next few days, some portions of the site may not work as before as we disable some plugins and functions to try to isolate the causes of the technical issues. The site may even go offline for a while.

I am alerting you to these developments so you are not too alarmed or concerned if the site looks or behaves differently in the next few days. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. These gremlins are truly annoying but I hope to flush them out soon, forever!

I was also informed that there are currently  23,378 emails queue for delivery in the server. As I am not sending out any emails or newsletters, I suspect the email server may have been hijacked or compromised.

If you receive, or have received, any emails from that seems suspicious, please let me know.

Forum Posting is Working Again!

I have managed to find out what was causing the problem where members were unable to reply to posts or add new topics to the forum.

The culprit was the site theme and so I have swapped it to a basic theme. It may not look very pretty, but the forum works again.

My apologies for the breakdown. Let’s get back to sharing aviation art again! 🙂

Cannot Post in Forum – Investigating Now!

Hi all, I was just made aware yesterday by several members that new posts or replies cannot be made in the eHangar Forum now.

I am looking into this problem right now and will get this fixed as soon as possible.

I apologise for the break down, and thank the members who have written in to alert me of this issue.

I shall post an update on this page when this issue has been fixed.
