As a first topic, I have always been intrigued by this photo of Hawker Typhoon pilots of RAF 257 Squadron. A photo credit found on a webpage cited that this photo, taken by famed RAF photographer Charles E. Brown, was taken on May 1942, at Warmwell, which is on England’s southern coast, 60 miles west of Southampton.
What is intriguing about this photo is the pilot in the middle, who looks distinctly Asian. In fact, to me, he looks Burmese, but I could be wrong, and I have been wanting to find...
