Deadly Escort by Kevin Weber (eHangar.com MSO!)
Emerging aviation artist Kevin Weber has released his first limited print edition depicting a well-known WWII aerial event.
Deadly Escort depicts USAAF pilot Robert S. Johnson's damaged P-47 Thunderbolt being attacked by Luftwaffe ace Egon Mayer's Focke Wulf FW190 over Europe. Despite emptying his ammunition into the lumbering American fighter, the German pilot is unable to down it.
Kevin's painting shows Johnson's deadly predicament as he twists in his cockpit as the FW190 closes in to point-blank range. Thanks to the P-47's rugged construction, Johnson is able to reach England safely and go on to achieve acedom.
Note: Kevin is offering a Member's Special Offer (MSO) for eHangar.com members for his new print. You can get more details on pricing etc in the MSO section.

Robert Bailey has released a new limited print featuring F/A-18 Hornets of the RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force).
The Hornets are depicted taxying and taking off for a mission in Kosovo during the Balkan campaign.
A very small print run due to the more niche nature of this image, Balkan Strikers is limited to 60 prints for the main edition. Each print is signed by the artist and by five Kosovo F-18 veterans.

Untouchable by Dru Blair
Aviation artist Dru Blair has released a new set of limited edition prints depicting the famed Lockheed A-12 supersonic reconnaissance aircraft.
While there are many aviation art images of the A-12's more famous competitor and eventual successor - the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird - this is, to my knowledge, the first aviation art print depicting this revolutionary aircraft and Dru's offering helps address this disparity. This is the first A-12 painting included in the eHangar.com Aviation Art Prints Directory.
Untouchable depicts the first official sortie flown by an A-12 on May 31, 1967. Piloted by Mel Vojvodich, this first Black Shield operation was flown over North Vietnam to photograph Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) sites. Mele flew the A-12 at Mach 3.1 at 80,000 ft.

Eagle Force by Robert Taylor
As the question was recently asked - Do we need yet another Dambuster print - a number of eHangar.com members have also asked the same of Spitfire prints. Robert Taylor's latest offering is - yes - yet another Spitfire print! But what a print.
Eagle Force features Supermarine Spitfire Mk Vb's of 71 Squadron RAF, piloted by American volunteers, almost silhouetted against a gorgeous backdrop that showcases why Robert Taylor is considered one of the foremost aviation artists in the world.
