Announcing new forum mod - fuzzy
I take great pleasure in announcing the appointment of fuzzy, aka Kurt, as a forum moderator.
Fuzzy has been a member of eHangar.com since March 2005 and is a regular with over 900 posts. He has also shown great commitment in contributing to the site and helping out in our community with his insightful comments in his posts.

1,000th Member Milestone

Right On Time by Steve Heyen
Australia-based aviation artist Steve Heyen has released a limited edition Giclee print of his recent work, "Right On Time".
Depicting the Republic P-47D-10 Thunderbolt fighter flown by Lt. Fred Christensen, of the 62nd Fighter Squadron, 56th Fighter Group USAAF over France in 1944, the print measures 28" X 18".

Artists Gallery - two new fields added
I've added two new fields to the Artists Gallery section - Artist name and dimensions of the original art work.
I realised that while viewing the art works submitted by our artist members, there was no way of knowing who posted the art as only the filename and album names were displayed previously. I had to resort many times to deciphering the signatures on the art work.

I am very pleased to announce that Vincent Meslet, aka Frenchie, has been added to our team of moderators.
Vincent has been a member of eHangar.com since Feb 16, 2005, making him one of our 'veteran' members with over 700 posts. An aviation artist, he has contributed in many ways to the site - in his regular WIP threads, his comments, and his proactive concern for all aspects of eHangar.com.

New Member Registration email bug fixed
Since the move to the new server at the beginning of the year, we've had the problem of the portal script not being able to send out notification emails that new registrants' applications have been approved.
We've just managed to get this bug fixed, and now hopefully, all email notifications can get through. We have currently more than 30 new accounts in limbo that can now go through.
To these new members, please accept my apologies for the delay and any inconvenience and frustration caused. I've just sent an email update to all of you; if you have not received it yet, please contact me so I can approve your registration manually.

Submit Art & Gallery bugs fixed!
The Submit Art and Artists Gallery sections are functioning properly again. Some of the script needed modifications after our server move last month. So you can now submit and upload your aviation art prints and works to the Aviation Art Directory and Artists Gallery respectively!
The next item on the agenda is the email notification functionality for new member registrations. This is top priority for me as there are a lot of new signups waiting in the wings.

Server move successful - We're up and running again!
I'm happy to report that the move to our new webhosting server from Singapore to the US has been successful.
There are a few kinks to be ironed out, particularly the Aviation Art Directories section, which is not accessible yet. However, the portal section, and most importantly for many of you, the Forum, is up and running without any glitches.

MG signs on Anthony Saunders, releases two new prints
The Military Gallery has announced that it has signed on artist Anthony Saunders to paint exclusively and full-time for the premier aviation art publisher.
The appointment was announced with the release of Anthony Saunders' brand new Battle of Britain Portfolio - a set of two prints.
High Summer (above) features Spitfires of 92 Squadron RAF downing a Messerschmitt Bf109, while Homeward Bound (right) depicts two Me109s of Adolf Galland's JG-26 running for home across the English Channel.
