Edit this large picture in your Photobucket folder – resize to 50% of original. The edit button is just above each picture in your folder assuming you have opened an account and now have a folder. So click edit button, check box for 50% of original and click resize.

Once it is resized, click on it and follow the same proceedure you used to post the full size image above. (If 50% is still too big, reduce the image again).

Just edit your post and replace the previous URL with the new one you have created with the 50% resized image.

Good luck, it will be fine once you have the hang of it. πŸ™‚ wink

Ahh, thx Nick.
Much better now and really easy to use, even for me wink

Nice prints Chris, I recognised the Crandall work from a book cover for ‘Fighter Aces Of The Luftwaffe’ by Toliver & Constable. A volume that started life in the sixties as ‘Horrido’ and went through many reprints before culminating in the latest Schiffer edition with this print on the dust jacket.

Looking forward to some more pieces from your collection soon. πŸ˜€

Fenris, I have the exact same Clash of Eagles print by Roy Grinnell with the two remarques, and this print remains one of my favourite. Like you, I was fascinated by the unusual story and theme, plus the excellent composition.

Full details on this long sold-out print at http://www.ehangar.com/printga…..o_detail=1

I heard from Roy Grinnell’s wife that this print (non-remarqued) fetches at least $600-700 on the secondary market. Hang onto it! πŸ˜‰

Amzing, i wouldn’t expected this rather high value but since i don’t intend ever to sell it unless someone shows up with a very insane offer it’s not that important to me.

Are there any more of Grinnell’s print in this price region or even higher valued or it this print his “JG52” ?

I posted some of my prints before and working on the rest. I also collect 8 x 10s with personal dedication to me from Knight’s Cross holders connected to the books I’ve written. All I knew for years and met or wrote with at great length.

Hope the moderators can help make them appear, having trouble with the transfer instructions. Would be nice if we could load direct from PC as do a lot of historical sites.

don’t seem to be able to move the other 2 photos of remaining walls in this room, but you get the idea.

Trying to repost these as they seem to have disappeared. Doing some shots of the rest this week, hope some come out as hallways seem difficult due to reflection. 1 large wall (newly finished) should photo OK. I’m forever behind in framing, must have 50 waiting for the framery in sleeves, with the new Taylor and other coming !!

Looks like your other photos are back up now. By the way the links you gave from axishistory.com will not work as that site does not allow remote hosting of images posted on it’s forums.

Wow, yerger, yours must surely be one of the most extensive collections of Knight’s Cross winners photos around. What is that framed circular disc in the last photo?

Have you got any photo or document with Hitler’s original signature?

round item is an Ehrenteller (Honor PLate) for helping that unit with their research on individuals and the unit’s history.

here are some others

No Hitler signatures, but many I do have are harder to get, especially personally dedicated. Hitler signed a mountain of paper.
