Parts of 2 of my walls, a B-17 area (favorite plane) and 2 of my Frank Woottons (my favorite artist)

My 2 favorite Phillips and some of my 30 framed Taylors. Hard to get the right angle and glare problem from camera for my Frank Wootton walls. The wall on the lower half of the image holds 9 Taylors, but couldn’t back up far enough to get all in the pic. Newest one I have framed (not shown) is his new Beaufighter print.

A few more, mostly I store the companion Taylor prints and just frame the 30 or so large ones.

Something not working quite right here yerger, the images you have posted of your collection are showing up as stop signs! 🙁

Hope you can get it sorted….looking forward to seeing your photos.

Yep, same here. I belived it was only me who can’t see the images, but it seems there is a error somewhere.

I’ve visited the forum site where yerger’s photos are hosted, and it seems only registered members can view all the images there, as I can only see the same “no parking” signs as displayed in yerger’s posts above.

I registered as a member and after it was approved, I logged in and lo and behold, I could view all the photos.

So yerger, it seems to be a site feature that only that forum’s members can view photos posted there. :think Hmmm… should we implement such a “feature” here on eHangar too? :think

Unfortunately, the Artists Gallery is broken (temporarily) after we switched operating systems, so you can’t upload your photos here for now embarassed

So unless you’ve got another site to host your pix, we’ll have to wait until the upload feature is fixed in the gallery.

all new to me, I see them here when I get in this forum. Perhaps best if we can upload direct from the PC storage area ?? Most forums require one to register and log in to see images, never “transplated” anything before.

Yerger, if you re-upload your three photos to Photobucket here: http://www.photobucket.com/ which is a free web host and will only take you a couple of minutes to complete and you then follow the image posting instructions above, you will be able to display your images without further problems in this forum. 8)

I did like eHangar said and registered at the other site and can now view your images here. 😀

That’s a seriously large collection of framed prints…I wouldn’t like to think about your framing bill ❗

Congratulations and hope to see some more of your photos soon. 8)

BTW got to agree with you about Wootton, his stuff is quite superb.

Hi yerger, not quite true, this. You can view images posted on most forums, even if you are an unregistered guest. I’m not sure what blocking programming script the WMCA forum has in place as I’m no programmer, but this is the very first forum I’ve come across that blocks guests from viewing images, and I have visited many many forums!

Strangely though, now that I’ve registered there, I can view the images on the WMCA forum as well as here on this forum (same as Stormchaser). So it must be some sort of “cookie” that is placed on the member’s PC that gives permission to view the images.

As I don’t expect every visitor to eHangar.com to also register at WMCA, I would suggest transplanting the images here at eHangar.com. With your permission, yerger, I shall copy your images and upload them into our Gallery directly and edit your posts to point to the images on the eHangar.com server instead of WMCA, is this alright with you?

Its done 🙂

Can someone other than yerger, Stormchaser and myself, who has not registered on the WMCA forum, let me know if you can view yerger’s photos of his collection?

Hi Matt

If you had tried viewing the images before this, you will need to refresh your browser as the old page, with the old image references, might still remain in your cache.

Please click refresh on page 2 of this thread and see if the images can’t come up 🙂

Yes yerger’s photo’s are now visible (I’d not registered with the other site).

By the way yerger do you do your own framing? Your local gallery must love you 🙂

All my prints are done by frame shops, acid free backing, all double matted. I’m single so the decor design is all mine. I get a good discount as I do a lot on a regular basis. I also collect signed 8x10s of Knight’s Cross holders with personal dedication to me, each museum framed also. They’re in another room by themselves and have over 125 of those.

Thanks for the comments. I’ll try to get more pics but some areas, especially hallways (where 1/2 my Wootton’s are and a lot of West’s), are hard to photograph as I get reflection and have no way to move from the light reflecting. Working on another new room which should be easier to photograph: period photography in large format, Taylors and some misc prints I’ve liked and bought. Am always behind in framing with several dozen in protective sleeves.
