At AH on Saturday i saw my double remarque for “Threatening Skies”, it looks fantastic. As i requested RT2 has based the drawing on the lead B29 in the print “DINA MIGHT”. I left the print with them to be framed to include a 20th Air Force shoulder patch and a full size Air Medal, sadly i probably wont pick it up until the New year ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Hedgejumper

WOW! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ That print is outstanding, Nick Trudgian is again the King of the Remarque. You also did a great job framing this print, nice and simple, it doesn’t take away from the print and those Remarque’s at all.

You picked a winner.

I’ve decided at this point that I want a Nick Trudgian Remarque. lol Time for me to start shopping ๐Ÿ˜€

Cheers Peter

Thanks Peter,

When I was thinking about the framing I decided on the ‘less is more’ approach. I could have had some extra signatures matted in the mount but I thought that the remarques were so good that nothing else was necessary.

I like the way that the ‘step down’ in the mount either side of the remarques draws your eye onto them and thus highlights them.

I am so pleased with this; great print, great remarques – thank you Nicolas Trudgian!! :award_1

When you get your Nick Trudgian Remarque be sure to post it. . .happy shopping! ๐Ÿ™‚

After looking over all of the remarques you fellas have been posting on this thread, it further cements the conclusion I arrived at some time ago. Nicolas Trudgian is the man to beat when it comes to pencil drawings and remarques. There are several artists that are nipping at his heels though.

Peter,

It looks like NT used the same reference for both of our remarques, a view a lot of German refinery workers must have witnessed on that day…

Hi hedgejumper

I just saw that one on the auction house, that one looks great, $500 Canadian, I looked at his add and if you win this print you can buy something from his collection, He’s the one who owns that huge collection $150,000.00, I just printed the list out and looked at his overall collection it’s amazing.

I would really like to get my hands on Nick Trudgians Storm Chaser Remarque I can’t find that any place, any ideas?. I’m thinking of ordering his Battle for New Years Day Remarque in early 2008, and I’ll see what he come up with next. I’m sure I’m going to like it…. ๐Ÿ˜€

Cheers Peter

Pat.

That is an OUTSTANDING Remarque, ๐Ÿ˜Ž That Richard Taylor does wonderful work, and his Remarques, WOW! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ . They are nice and detailed. He must spent a great deal of time on those, I like them better then his Fathers.

Good choice, I just might have to invest in a RT2 Double remarque soon.

Let’s see some more photos, and by the way great shots.

Cheers peter
