A trade, wanted, sell thread would be super for us collectors.

Fantastic idea, it would also beinteresting to see what art members would be willing to part with

I have a few prints that i would be willing to sell to help fund the purchase of a original pencil drawing or two. So a dedicated page on this site would be great.

For those of you who have prints to sell, Sunny has incorporated a classifieds section into the eHangar website (see the “Classifieds” icon on the top bar or “Classified Ads” icon on the side bar). I suppose that if you were willing to entertain trades you could select a $0 asking price and then mention trade opportunities in the text of your description. wink

Number One

I think having a buy, sell and trade forum here is a super idea. We all either are looking for something, selling something (usually to purchase another piece of art) or interested in a trade. I know I have a bunch of stuff that I would be willing to sell in order to fund my original commissions. In fact I will post a few things in the next couple days.

Second

I have something special I just purchased today. Its a great old Robert Taylor remarque which I will tell you all about and have pictures by Friday.

thanx

As blacksheep has said, we have a Classified Ads section for buying and selling which is accessed via the home page and the new Swapping and Exchange Forum is now open for business here : http://www.ehangar.com/modules…..&f=34

Hope we can get some good activity going in these sections from you guys who are looking to make changes to your collections. :readnews

Hello everyone, I’m new here so be gentle with me lol

I really like remarqued prints and particularly like Nicolas Trudgian remarques – I have a couple myself and when I figure out how embarassed I’ll post them.

You all have some great remarqued prints – so much art. . .so little time!! 😀

Hello everyone, I’m new here so be gentle with me lol

Hi HedgeJumper, welcome to the site. 🙂

Ok – now all I have to do is figure this out!!

Posting your images isn’t as daunting as it might seem and is fairly straightforward once you’ve got the hang of it. wink

Briefly, you need to upload your photos from your computer to a free webhosting site such as Photobucket : http://photobucket.com/register.php as used by most of our members.

Once that is done the rest is easy. 😀 On your album page there will be a set of thumbnails of your images… underneath each picture you should click on the second heading down called Direct Link which will copy the URL for you.

Paste that URL into your eHangar post and surround it as shown here.

Your image will then show up in your post.

If your image is large don’t forget to click the edit button above your thumbnail in Photobucket and resize it for display on Message Boards (640 x 480). Hope this helps you to get started. 🙂

Thanks Guys for helping out with my hopeless incompetence! embarassed But let me see if I’m getting there.
I appreciate that this is not aviation, but I was so pleased with it I thought I’d like to post it – I will post some aircraft too – honest 😀
Sorry about the poorish picture quality, taken through a browser sleeve – but I hope you enjoy it never-the-less.

This is my double remarque of ‘The Cold Front’ by Nicolas Trudgian.
Nicolas Trudgian sure does a fine remarque lol
And next time I’ll get the image size right. . . . doh!!!! 😥

Hedgejumper:

That is an OUTSTANDING Double Remarque on the Cold Front, 😀 Those are the best looking one’s I have seen in years. Nick Trudgian did a great job with “The Cold Front” his best work IMHO in a long time.

show us the whole print in all it’s glory if you can.

Cheers Peter

Here is another from my ‘Nicolas Trudgian’ collection.

It’s a large sized remarque of ‘Ardennes Offensive’ – as you’ve probably noticed, I really like the tank remarques and this is a beauty of the ‘King Tiger’.

I hope that they came out ok – there is some reflection from the main pic. but I think you can get the ‘jist’ of it.

His remarques really are superb! :bowing Unfortunately I couldn’t draw the curtains!

Hope you like it. :cheers

Excellent remarques by NT, both are great. My favourite of the 2 drawings is the one of the crew members(?) standing in front of the tank.

AH have informed me that my RT2 “Threatening Skies” double remarque is in, i will be looking to get it framed with a 20th Air Force shoulder badge and maybe a full size air crew medal. i will post a picture when its done.

Look forward to seeing you double remarque of ‘Threatening Skies’ RT.

Thanks for the comments – Nick’s ability to ‘capture’ an image to paper is amazing isn’t it – I selected the photos for remarques of ‘The Cold Front’ myself and he did the rest – I was sooooo happy :banana when I received it.
