Here is a drawing of a JG2 ‘Richthofen’ FW190 on the ‘Channel Front’ in 1943.
I wish it was mine but my brother has this one πŸ˜₯ Still at least I get to see it regularly! :thumbsup

Hedge,

Having a brother who collects original drawings must be the best. You get to look at them, he gets to pay for them!

You got it Fuzzy, it’s great – he decides what he likes and we hit the books to get the correct image for him :dance

This particular FW190 depicted is one of the aircraft that Josef ‘Sepp’ Wurmheller flew in 1943. At the time he was Staffelkapitan of 9./JG2. He ‘scored’ 102 aerial victories (93 in the West).

My brother has a ‘Hitler Youth’ card signed by Wurmheller that he is going to have matted in with it.

I will post some more of his and my collection over they next few days. . .it’s great seeing what all of you other collectors have!

Here’s another one belonging to the ‘bro’.

Again sorry about the not-too-hot photographs – one day I’ll loosen the wallet strings and buy a decent camera lol (or is it a case of a bad workman blaming the tools?!!) :nocomment

Again it’s a ‘Nick Trudgian’ original.

πŸ˜€ another set of great original pencil drawings. keep`em coming HedgeJumper

those signatures on the RT drawing look the same as my RT original. They must have been signed at the same time. If the signatures were different they would look great hanging next door to each other.

Thanks RT – I really like the original drawings (as does my brother!) and obviously you do too!!

Something nice about an original pencil drawing, would like some more – would like to commission Nick Trudgian to do a large ground combat scene with some ‘different’ vehicles such as assault guns/tank destroyers etc and perhaps a ‘Stormovik’ – better get saving those pennies!!! :pray

Heres my other NT original pencil drawing. It features B24H “WITCHCRAFT” of the 467TH BG which flew 130 missions. It has been signed by 10 former 467th BG pilots.

Great drawings RT, particularly like the B-24 – you don’t see too many drawings of that type of aircraft and it’s a beauty :drool1

Keeping to the U.S.A.A.F, here’s another one from the collection (his not mine) :crying :

357th Fighter Group ‘The Yoxford Boys’ by Nick Trudgian – Had this one for a few years now; it has been signed by 35 (if I can count!!) former pilots of the 357th.

Hope you like it.
:cheers

Had this one for quite a few years now.

Frank Wooton has done some great drawings in this format. I’ll be doing some too in the future, looks pretty nice.

I love pencil and don’t do it enough. I love Wade Meyer’s pencil work … wish he would post one of his here. Here is one I did for a client of Buzz Aldrin.
