A former professional photographer, Allan now paints a wide variety of aviation subjects, as seen on his eHangar.com minisite and homepage. Many of these aviation art pieces are now being offered for sale as prints.Allan is an associate of the Guild of Aviation Artists, and has exhibited at their Annual show for all of these years. In this year’s (2010) show, he happily saw five of his six paintings sold.
He is an amateur historian of The Great War and his choice of aviation art subject bears testimony to this interest.
